As part of a Remembrance Day tribute, I was asked by the head of the school's English department to create a short film about World War One, including shots featuring paper poppies, which were decorated with words, tributes and sentences concerning their thoughts on the war.
This is my first draft, so this is not the finished product.
I'm a year 13 Media Studies student at Heworth Grange Sixth Form. Film is my passion, and I will use this blog to document my progress and works during my two year Media Studies course.

Elderly Scene - FILMED!
Yesterday evening (04/12/14), I filmed my elderly scene. I have to reshoot a single shot, due to the wrong clock prop. I also have to return to film the wall, where I'll have a few wedding day photos and pictures of Emily and Thomas with their friends.
I also took some shots behind the scenes.

This Weeks Filming Schedule
I am planning on filming my elderly scene either tomorrow (Wednesday) or Thursday at my grandmother's house.
I am also planning on filming a section on both the teenage and adult scenes on Sunday. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to film these scenes for the past two weeks due several factors such as weather, the hectic city centre rush of "Black Friday Weekend", and football match days. I didn't want to risk taking such expensive equipment out when I wasn't certain it would be safe. However, this weekend seems appropriate as there doesn't seem to be any disturbances to set the city centre into an unfriendly zone.
